Born in Sibiu, Romania spent my first years behind the iron curtain. I now live in Seattle, Wa.
My photography career started in high-school. I got a job at the local camera store and loved it. Wasn't so much interested in the sales aspect, I was drawn towards the printing and editing of photos.
Spend a few years doing that while finishing college. I took a break from photography to become a DJ, and as much as I love music, I realized that photography is my number one passion and decided to dedicate 100% to it.
I try to travel as much as possible which is not that much, to see and capture the world. One day, the gray-bearded self will have photographed on every continent and every county. Check out my Instagram for daily updates. @monkifoto

I prefer to photograph landscapes, skylines, cars, and people, however, at one point or another, I have tried everything from, commercial product photography, star trails, and even macro photography.

Curious about my gear?
I shoot with a Sony A7R III and a Sony A7 III. Both cameras have excellent sensors and provide high-quality images.
I pair these with Sony 85mm f1.8 for portraits a Sigma 35mm f1.4 for most other needs.
I also have a 16-35mm f4 lens for ultra wide shots.
If I need anything else I would most likely rent. My favorite rental lens... Sony 70-200 f2.8.
For lighting I use the Godox System. 2 Godox TT 865 S with triggers and receivers and other flashpoint studio strobes when needed.
